Sunday, January 29, 2012 Today's landscape evokes images of Perry trudging across the frozen Arctic Ocean in quest of the pole. Stretches of styrofoam white are interrupted by pools of gray, frozen sludge, but, thank goodness, no polar bears. For confident skate skiers only, 5K or more of crust-cruising possibilities are out there -- on trail or off. You just have to pick your spots. Snowshoes are the way to go for anyone else. Our shop carries ski equipment and clothing from companies such as Rossignol, Fischer, Swix, Skida, and Turtle Fur. Check out the goodies. NEW! SUGAR MAMA'S CAFE AT OLE'S IS OPEN FOR BRUNCH AND LUNCH 10-4 on weekends and during the holidays. Go for a ski to earn your calories, then enjoy lunch at Sugar Mama's! Check out her fabulous take-and-bake menu to make dinnertime way easy.
