Spring skiing in January.

Good Morning

Currently it is 43 degrees outside and the we have some spring conditions in January. The temps are supposed to climb through out the day and by tomorrow we will have rain and very warm temps. We are hopeful that the snow can take a beating but only time will tell. Today will be very nice and you can come up and pretend it is March for a day. We may have some snow on Saturday on the back side of this system. Hopefully we make a net gain in snow pack. We anticipate closing trails tomorrow and maybe Saturday if the snow is saturated with water. Even with fresh snow on top if we groom too soon the water will go to the top of the snow pack and the whole trail system will be iced out. The shop will be open all weekend 9 AM - 5PM unless othewise posted. Call with questions.
