Skiing here today!

Good Morning

Still skiing on around 5KM of groomed trail today. Coverage overall is great in places however there are a few thin spots here and there. Conditions are great practice for ze' balance!

We have groomed trail # 2 around the airport field and Trail # 11 Rock n' Rollin'. I took a ride out to the some of the outer trails this morning. Trail # 5 through the woods, # 8 and # 12 through the woods actually have some great cover. Venturing further out to the # 4 loops you'll find some great sections interspersed with some thinner sections. It offers some nice slalom style nordic skiing curtosey of the corn stalks poking out here and there.. All of the latter mentioned are too thin for grooming but have a solid inch of crust topped by a few inches of powder. Expect a sort of " Backcountry" experience. We recommend the outer stuff fur intermediate and above experience levels. BRING THE ROCK SKIS

Snow shoeing is another option and we have some great terrain to explore.
