Best spring skiing ever....

Today will possibly be the best spring skiing we have ever had here at the center. Have the conditions been this good this time of year before? Sure, but it has been a few years since we have been looking at our calendar, seeing March 28th and all of the trail system is not only open, but it is all skiing as good as it gets. It is a nice reminder of how great the skiing really is here in Vermont and at Ole's. This is my 32nd year living in Vermont, I have seen a lot of winter ups and downs and all though we will always endure the routine wash outs, warm ups and ice outs, there is nothing quite like Northeastern skiing.

Trails are groomed up but firm as of 9:00 AM. The sun will work the melty melty quickly so the key will to be here during the sweet corn window. I would think between 10:30 ad 12:30 will be the sweet spot but I skied around all afternoon yesterday and it was soft, springy and a blast! Come enjoy the trails today.
