Ouch.
Holy frijoles cheese and guacamole that was a doozy. It was 50 degrees plus yesterday. The wind blew steadily around 30 mph with gusts way higher all day and all last night. On top of that a solid 1.5" of rain watered down last night. Ouch.
Needless to say we are closed at the moment. Maybe a field loop somewhere could be groomed out for some bonehead pass holders and snowshoeing may be a good option but as of today we will be closed. There are large amounts of standing water throughout the trail system and we need to get out and assess before folks can go out. Will post any new news.
Think snow, still a good chunk of season left. So maybe we will get lucky. Enjoy your day.
