Beautiful Winter Weather here Today

Another beautiful winter morning here at Ole's. Sun is peaking up over the ridge and the view is really nice. We scored about 1-2 inches fresh snow overnight and while it wasn't the big Nor' Easter we all were hoping for a few days ago,it has given us a really nice refresh out on the trails. Things have powdered back up and are grooming out nicely. Fresh grooming on all the open terrain this morning.

I am looking forward to this cold stretch that will help move us even deeper into winter lock up. Just looking for that beefy storm to roll through and give us a good dump of snow. Think snow!

Come up and enjoy the trails today. Dress warm and bring your neck gaiter/face mask. While it is chilly, there is no better way to beat the cold than Cross Country Skiing!

Head to the woods today. While they are on the thin side and a bit dippy I dragged the groomer through there this morning and they really are in OK shape and very passable. The 4K loops seemed to be sheltered as well as # 5 along the East Warren Road. The sun shining will help to warm your bones. Our wood stove will be cranking all day and we have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks to warm you up.

Open Trails include

#2,#3#4,#5,#7 out to #4/#4A.and #11 Rock n' Roll. All open trails are skiing nicely and have good to great coverage. #5 in the woods is a little dippy and maybe getting a bit thin from the bridge to the farm fields heading north but is in reasonable shape and very ski-able.

Note: There is active logging occurring out behind the farm. Follow signs and re routes. Give way and yield to all equipment and vehicles. In short stay out of the way. Good skiing to find out there however. Stop in for details if necessary.
