COLD AND GORGEOUS OUT THERE TODAY

Another welcome winter day today. It is nice and cold around 2 degrees as of 6 AM. That will surly help to freeze up the ground and some water spots that are only slightly annoying. We have around 5 KM of skiing for you today. Trails open are Trail #2 around the Airport and down To the Polo Field as well as Rock N' Roll. Coverage is thin so ski with caution. Definitely not a day for your $800 race set up but there is some good skiing out there. It snowed lightly during the day all day yesterday and with the freeze up commencing things are improving every minute. I also put a loop near the airport building, on the "lawn side" of the field. It is a KM plus of skiing that is a good as it can be. You will even find some Classic Track out there to enjoy. It is going to be a great day to get outside, work up a sweat and enjoy the cold northern air. See ya up here today!

We will be renting skis and selling day tickets for day visitors today. If you need to rent skis please note that rentals are by reservation again ths year, although we will do our best to accomodate "walk-in" visitors. The upstairs lounge is not open again this year and we will once again have a port-o-let for you to use.
