Good Skiing Here Today

Good Morning,
A beautiful day out there cold and calm. Our snowpack is holding strong. I took the groomer out and shaved some trail this morning to produce a rather nice granular surface. Groomed out fresh so far this moring will be trails #5,#4,.#4A,#7,#2, and #3. We will see where we are at after that. Things are definitely fast and firm so ski with caution especially in the woods and down any hills. The skiing is good, even some fresh track out there for you classic skiers.Not a great day for a tentative beginner who does not bounce well but I think you will be surprised. The temps were cold this morning, but are forecasted to rebound to the upper teens by around 2PM. Some snow has even just started. It is very light but we will take what we can get. Ski it this week folks. Tomorrow the cold will break and we should get a few nice days of spring skiing.
Ski shop is open and stocked for your Cross Country and Backcountry needs. We have Rossignol and Fischer Track skis as well as offtrack touring skis. Skis, Boots hats and accessories galore. We also have your waxing supplies for that sticky spring snow.
