Still Skiing, Forecast is getting interesting.

February 21,2023

Nice morning out there with sun filtering through the clouds. We are still skiing on a suprisingly a good selection of trails. Yesterday an annoying rain/snow shower passed through and we had some warm temps so the base has thinned some, but the shoveling effort yesterday payed off and while you can expect a thin spot here and there as well as a patch of ice the skiing is pretty darn nice. The best snow is over on Rock N' Roll # 11 but #2,#3, and out #5 along E. Warren Road out to the nice 1.5KM loop I set off of "Repeat Hill". It was skiing springy but nice yesterday around 2PM. We could use a dose of fresh snow, maybe some tonight and the forecast is looking pretty interesting as we progress into the week.

Trail #5 through the wood is getting pretty thin and "spicy" (as the kids say) towards the North End. But they don't call it Cross Country for nothin' and if you don't mind an adventure you can make the full # 5 loop. We also have been skiing on the #4 loops and while I did not go out there yesterday I imagine the ice spot on the NE corner is getting pretty formidable.

Trails #1 is pretty much all there but the Pinewoods section is for sure thin. Skiing overall is great all things considering so come up and enjoy.

THESE VIDEOS WERE TAKEN YESTERDAY AROUND LATE MORING, AND IS ROCK N' ROLL UNDERGOING A REGROOM
